1. This is the first step to owning your own home! We’ll visit properties and neighborhoods that I’ve personally and carefully previewed and selected for your consideration.

2. Once you’ve narrowed down your list and have a clear favorite, we’ll sit down to discuss placing an offer on the property.

1. There’s a lot to cover when placing an offer on a home or property. We will discuss:

• The price

• Terms – such as a request for closing cost help or that the offer is subject to your obtaining financing and a home inspection

• Target date for closing

• Earnest money deposit – your KW agent can advise you about how big your deposit should be based on local customs and current conditions

• Request for final walk-through

• Time limit for the offer

2. We will also work through any contingencies and counteroffers.

1. As soon your offer is accepted, you should schedule your home inspection. I’ll gladly give you my recommendation on any home inspectors in the area.

2. On the day of closing, you’ll feel so prepared! I will walk you through every step and prepare you for the paperwork ahead!
